Kayak VR: Mirage Launch Trailer
The moment we've been working towards for the past two years is finally here and we can't help but be proud! Kayak VR: Mirage is now available on Steam with a 15% launch discount bringing the price to $19.50: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1683340
The game features four locations inspired by real locales, complete with different times-of-day, weather conditions and a variety of sea and wildlife. Whether you want to just take in the sights at your own pace or you want some competition and a proper workout the game's got you covered.
We've made a Roadmap for the game available on Trello: https://trello.com/b/hSKybmxa. You can get some insight into what we’re working on and the community can vote there on potential future content.
On our Discord people can discuss ideas, provide us with feedback and a channel dedicated to creating makeshift paddles or 3D printed mounts, if you want that extra bit of immersion: https://discord.gg/PDm8H7YDfy
And last but not least, we've gotten some feedback on previous trailers with people thinking this would require a NASA PC or something, and as much of a compliment that is to the visuals, we spent a lot of time optimizing the game to make sure that's not necessary. I'd encourage you to check the minimum specs, if you have a VR ready rig there's a good chance you can run the game just fine :)
